YWCA Child Care Resource & Referral for Lima, OH and Surrounding 8 County Area
The YWCA Child Care Resource & Referral has been offering free child care, preschool & daycare services in Lima, OH and Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Mercer, Putnam, Van Wert, And Wyandot counties since 1993.
We are a non-profit organization that assists parents in finding affordable, quality child care, and link families to various child care and consumer resources. We also offer education, training, and technical assistance for child care business start -up and existing sites. We are committed to promoting and supporting quality child day care.
A major focus of our technical assistance and training programs is Ohio's Step Up to Quality initiative. We work with child care centers that have chosen to exceed child care licensing rules and standards. These star rated programs have highly trained teachers, fewer children per classroom, and early education programming. High quality early child care and education settings are important because early experience last a lifetime.
